Paul Pierce was born on the 13th of October 1977 in Oakland, California to an incredible mother: Lorraine Hosey, who raised him as a single parent alongside his two older step-brothers, Jamel Hosey and Steve Hosey. Subsequently, and in search of greener pastures, his mother relocated to Inglewood, carrying them along.

The 44 years old attended Inglewood High School. He played for the Inglewood High basketball team, despite the fact that he was battling with statue inadequacy until he decided to gym up and bring himself fit enough for the game.

The professional career of Paul Pierce started precisely in 1998 when he signed a deal with the Boston Celtics. He played as a small forward, helping the team to the 2002 playoffs for the first time in seven years.

In 2008, Paul helped the side to claim the championship title; his performance earned him the MVP player of the NBA. The former basketball player was simultaneously selected as one of the All-Star players five times; from 2002-2006. That’s not all, he was again honored as such from 2008-2012.

He played for the Boston Celtics for 15 years and eventually left them in 2013 to join the Brooklyn Nets for the season. Barely had he joined the Brooklyn Nets before he got a better offer from Washington Wizards for a two-year deal.
